King George posted their closest win since August 25th on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Eastern View Cyclones 3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

The victory didn't come easy: Eastern View scored at least nine points in every set. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-18, 25-18, 14-25, 15-9.

King George has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. As for Eastern View, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-13.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. King George will take on rival Courtland at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Eastern View is set to face off against their familiar foe Culpeper County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
