Volleyball Recap: Two Roads Charter School Takes a Loss

Two Roads Charter School entered their contest against Ascent Classical Academy Northern Colorado on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Falcons took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Archers. The Falcons were not able to make up for their loss to the Archers from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Two Roads Charter School started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-21, 25-15, 25-23.

Savanah Bromiel paced Two Roads Charter School's offense, picking up 16 kills. Bromiel got some help from Hannah Lehner and her 14 assists. Lehner was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Two Roads Charter School's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Ascent Classical Academy Northern Colorado, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Two Roads Charter School will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Loveland Classical at 5:30 p.m. on the 15th. Ascent Classical Academy Northern Colorado has already played their next matchup (against Twin Peaks Classical Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
