Baseball Recap: Mountain View Falls Short of Branham in the Playoffs

Mountain View and Branham squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Mountain View had to settle for second. They fell 7-4 to the Bruins. The Spartans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bruins earlier this season, when they won 6-0.

Preston Huang made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI. Kyle Shachal was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Mountain View has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-12 record this season. As for Branham, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-10.

As of now, neither Mountain View nor the Bruins have any future games scheduled.
