Salinas waltzed into their matchup on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the King City Mustangs by a score of 3-1. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-0 win on October 2nd.

Salinas walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-18, 20-25, 25-15, 25-17.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Salinas to victory, but perhaps none more so than Natalie Lopez, who had nine digs.

Salinas' victory bumped their record up to 22-6. As for King City, their loss dropped their record down to 14-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Salinas will square off against rival Monte Vista Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, King City is set to challenge their familiar foe Pacific Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
