Valley came tearing into Monday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Seneca Red Hawks with a sharp 18-9 victory. This was payback for the Vikings, who suffered a 16-13 loss the last time these two teams met.

The team relied heavily on Natalie Saint Louis, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. She also put up two RBI, which were her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Johanna Eason, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Valley's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-7. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 23.7 runs over those games. As for Seneca, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Coming up, Valley will venture away from home to challenge Waggener at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vikings will need to watch out since the Wildcats have now posted at least ten runs in their last six matchups. As for Seneca, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Atherton at 5:00 p.m.
