Basketball Recap: Novi Comes Up Short

Novi was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They came up short against the Salem Rocks, falling 52-30. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 462nd, while the Rocks are ranked 150th).

Novi's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Salem, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Novi is set to challenge their familiar foe Howell at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Salem will take on rival Brighton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
