Volleyball Recap: ASPIRA Charter Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Christiana

ASPIRA Charter faced Christiana in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Wolves lost 3-0 to the Vikings. The shutout was out of character for the Wolves seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in April.

ASPIRA Charter's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-8. As for Christiana, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

ASPIRA Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Christiana, they will face off against Cape Henlopen at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cape Henlopen will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Christiana surely won't give up without a fight.
