Baseball Recap: Gunn Gets the Win

Gunn won the last time they faced Milpitas and things went their way on Friday too. The Titans had just enough and edged out the Trojans 8-7. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Titans.

The team relied heavily on Tripp Higgins, who fired off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in runs (two). Cam Owen was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Gunn lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Gunn's victory bumped their record up to 10-15. As for Milpitas, they dropped their record down to 2-21 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road.

As of now, neither Gunn nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
