Basketball Recap: Chi-Prep Academy Comes Up Short

Chi-Prep Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 46-41 heartbreaker at the hands of the Jonesboro Hurricane. That's two games in a row now that the Freeze have lost by exactly five points.

Chi-Prep Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Jonesboro, the win keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Chi-Prep Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Jonesboro and Marion will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Marion will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Jonesboro surely won't give up without a fight.
