Bangs's rock-solid defense showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Friday. They blew past the Ballinger Bearcats, posting a 48-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Dragons, who have now won three contests by 48 points or more so far this season.

Bangs' defense made their presence known, laying out the QB six times. In that department, Ryan Alqorum was the leader with two sacks. He is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in each of the last four games he's played. Bangs got some further help from Cason Tidwell: he picked up a sack, made 12 total tackles (3.0 for loss), and defended one pass.

Bangs' victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Ballinger, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
