Pleasant Ridge can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They blew past the McLouth Bulldogs 13-3. Considering the Rams have won seven games by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Austin Green made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched 5.1 innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Green wasn't the only one making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Gabe Wise, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those two runs gave Wise a new career-high. Coben Hoppe was another, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs.

Pleasant Ridge always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as McLouth only posted an OBP of .269.

Pleasant Ridge's record now sits at 10-8-1. As for McLouth, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Pleasant Ridge beat the Bulldogs by a score of 6-3 later that day.
