Football Game Preview: Seneca Red Hawks vs. Jeffersontown Chargers

The Seneca Red Hawks will challenge the Jeffersontown Chargers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Seneca will be strutting in after a win while Jeffersontown will be coming in after a defeat.

Seneca will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up seven points last Friday, then bounced right back against Thomas Nelson on Friday. The Red Hawks claimed a resounding 35-7 victory over the Generals. The Red Hawks' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Jeffersontown and Southern were almost perfectly matched up on Thursday, but Jeffersontown suffered a 21-20 loss.

Jeffersontown's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Seneca, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.

Everything came up roses for Seneca against Jeffersontown in their previous meeting back in October of 2022, as the team secured a 58-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Hawks since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
