Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Maryville). They never let the Alcoa Tornadoes get on the board and left with a 6-0 win on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what Maryville needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Maryville is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6-1 record this season. As for Alcoa, they dropped their record down to 4-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Maryville will head out to take on Heritage at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Alcoa, they will face off against Loudon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
