Roxboro Community had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Neuse Charter Cougars. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-20, 25-8.

Leading Roxboro Community to victory were Kendall Rogers and Vivi Carcamo. Rogers had 12 digs and four assists, while Carcamo had ten digs. That's the most digs Carcamo has posted over her last three contests.

Despite the loss, Neuse Charter saw an underclassman step up: freshman Mikayla Leonard had 17 digs and four assists.

Roxboro Community's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Neuse Charter, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-7.

Roxboro Community has already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Research Triangle on the 16th. As for Neuse Charter, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Triangle Math & Science on the 16th.
