Softball Recap: Tullahoma Picks Up Seventh Straight Win on the Road

Tullahoma had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 15-run drubbing they dealt Franklin County on Thursday. The Wildcats blew past the Rebels 15-0. The Wildcats have beaten the Rebels the last seven times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Rebels has come to flipping the script.

Not much got past Amaya Sharp, who gave up just two hits to keep Franklin County off the board.

On the hitting side, Tullahoma got a massive performance out of Madison Goad, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI. That's the most stolen bases Goad has posted since back in May of 2024. Kylee Holt was another key player, going 3-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs.

Tullahoma's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-5. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.9 runs over those games. As for Franklin County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-11.

Coming up, Tullahoma will face off against Marshall County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Franklin County, they are taking a road trip to challenge Marion County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
