Basketball Recap: Logan Piles Up the Points Against Clay County

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Logan walked away with it. They claimed a resounding 67-16 victory over the Clay County Panthers. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 23 points or more this season.

Logan is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.4 points over those games. Clay County is on a 26-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-19.

Coming up, Logan will challenge Buffalo at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Buffalo will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Logan surely won't give up without a fight. Clay County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
