Wilcox had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Saratoga on Wednesday. The Chargers blew past the Falcons 3-0. The Chargers haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

While Wilcox won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-23, 25-16.

Wilcox's record now sits at 13-10. As for Saratoga, their loss was their ninth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-20.

The Falcons are facing the Firebirds at the right time seeing as the Firebirds are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
