Redeemer Classical Christ waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They skirted past the Maryland School for the Deaf Orioles 50-47. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Royals also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2025.

Maryland School for the Deaf's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ava Williamson, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 11 boards. Williamson has become a key player for the Orioles: the team is 2-1 when she posts at least ten rebounds, but 1-8 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Avery Penny, who almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine boards.

Redeemer Classical Christ's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Maryland School for the Deaf, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Looking ahead, Redeemer Classical Christ will host Mount Airy Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Maryland School for the Deaf, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 54-21 win against Heritage Academy on the 9th.
