With a playoff game on the line, Wheeler rose to the challenge on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Houlka Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 win.

One reason for the win was Wheeler's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-14, 25-7.

Wheeler found their leader in underclassman Marlee Hutcheson, who had three digs and two aces. Hutcheson is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in the last four games she's played.

Wheeler was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 25 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in August.

Wheeler's victory bumped their record up to 6-15. As for Houlka, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.

As of now, neither Wheeler nor Houlka have any future games scheduled.
