Lloyd Memorial extended their winning streak to three on Thursday, bumping their season record up to 11-8 in the process. They skirted past the Boone County Rebels 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-2 back in March.

As for Boone County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season. Their defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it eight in a row.

For Boone County's part, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eli Burks, who went 3-for-4 with one run.
