Onaga is 9-1 against Blue Valley since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Buffaloes are taking a road trip to square off against the Rams at 4:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses apiece.

Onaga made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Doniphan West, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Buffaloes fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 6-4 on Monday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 12 runs the game before, Blue Valley was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They came up short against Valley Heights, falling 13-2. The game marked the Rams' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Blue Valley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Koy Williams, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Onaga's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Blue Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-5.

Everything went Onaga's way against Blue Valley in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, as Onaga made off with a 12-2 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Buffaloes since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
