Soccer Game Preview: Piper vs. Harmon + How To Watch

The Piper Pirates will head out on the road to face off against the Harmon Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Piper is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Bonner Springs a 3-0 shutout. The victory was familiar territory for Piper, who have now won four matches in a row.

Tin Mang and Jack Franzen scored all three of Piper's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 15 goals.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last matchup, Harmon made sure to put some goals up on the board against Lansing on Tuesday. They blew past the Lions 7-1. Given Harmon's advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas soccer rankings (they are ranked 34th, while Lansing are ranked 87th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Harmon's win bumped their record up to 13-2-2. As for Piper, the victory got them back to even at 8-8-1.
