Softball Recap: Philadelphia Performing Arts Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Philadelphia Performing Arts can now relate to. They fell just short of the Philadelphia Academy Charter Chargers by a score of 6-5 on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knight of the 8-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2018.

Philadelphia Performing Arts' defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-6. As for Philadelphia Academy Charter, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Philadelphia Performing Arts does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Philadelphia Academy Charter, they will take on George Washington at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
