Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Oak Hills). They put the hurt on the Middletown Middies with a sharp  25-1 victory on Wednesday. With that  win, the Highlanders brought their scoring average up to 7.2  runs per game.
 Luke Wardwell was  incredible,  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances with three  runs, four  RBI,  and one  triple. Those  four  RBI gave  him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Reece Paff, who  went 2-for-3 with three  runs and three  RBI.
 Oak Hills  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .667. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Oak Hills pushed their record up to 10-2 with the  victory, which was their third straight  on the road. Those  road  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Middletown,  they are  on  a  14-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.
 Coming up, Oak Hills will welcome Fairfield  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Middletown, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Madeira  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The MUSTANGS/AMAZONS will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  victory, something the Middies surely won't give up without a fight.
