Volleyball Recap: Nordonia Picks Up Eighth Straight Win at Home

The Nordonia Knights got the win against the Mayfield Wildcats on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-17, 25-19.

Ej Sopata paced Nordonia's offense, picking up 24 kills. Sopata got some help from Zac Fernandez and his 29 assists. Fernandez was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Nordonia's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5. As for Mayfield, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-3.
