Soccer Recap: South Walton Takes a Loss

South Walton and Lake Highland Prep squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but South Walton had to settle for second. They lost 4-1 to the Lake Highland Prep Highlanders. The Seahawks were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Nate Lech, who's now up to ten this season.

South Walton's loss dropped their record down to 17-4. As for Lake Highland Prep, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

South Walton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lake Highland Prep, they will welcome American Heritage at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with American Heritage sitting on three straight victories and Lake Highland Prep on six.
