Soccer Game Preview: Franklin vs. West Fork

The Franklin Cougars will challenge the West Fork Gators at 12:45 p.m. on Friday. West Fork took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Franklin, who comes in off a win.

Franklin will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Port Arthur Memorial on Thursday. The Cougars put the hurt on the Titans with a sharp 8-2 victory. Considering Franklin's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for West Fork's offense. They lost 4-0 to Harker Heights on Thursday. West Fork have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

West Fork now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Franklin, they moved to 2-3 with that win, which also ended their three-match losing streak.
