Basketball Recap: East Finds Playoff Glory Versus Central

With a playoff win on the line, East rose to the challenge on Friday. They walked away with a 56-46 victory over the Central Indians. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 58-51 back in January.

East pushed their record up to 12-11 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.7 points over those games. As for Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season.

East does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central, they will take on Laramie at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Laramie knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten contests -- so hopefully Central likes a good challenge.
