Basketball Recap: Gavin Harrold Key Part of a Team Effort in Panthers Win

Penn Cambria won the last time they faced Bedford and things went their way on Friday too. The Penn Cambria Panthers came out on top against the Bedford Bisons by a score of 54-44. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 210th, while the Bisons are ranked 583rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Penn Cambria's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Gavin Harrold, who posted nine points along with six boards and three steals. Brandon Rabish also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Penn Cambria is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points per game. As for Bedford, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.
