Baseball Game Preview: Jefferson-Morgan Rockets vs. West Greene Pioneers

For the second straight game, Jefferson-Morgan will face off against West Greene. The Rockets are taking a road trip to challenge the Pioneers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jefferson-Morgan is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

Jefferson-Morgan is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past West Greene 12-2 on Monday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Rockets with their most commanding win of the season.

Brenton Barnhart was a standout: he scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Joe Bair also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Jefferson-Morgan always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .594. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as West Greene only posted an OBP of .250.

Jefferson-Morgan's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-3. As for West Greene, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 3-7.
