Basketball Recap: Eastern Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Eastern couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 44-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cherry Hill East Cougars. The defeat continues a trend for the Vikings in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost three in a row.

Eastern's loss dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Cherry Hill East, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 25-2.

As of now, neither Eastern nor Cherry Hill East have any future games scheduled.
