Baseball Game Preview: Hoosick Falls Panthers vs. Tamarac Bengals

For the second straight game, Hoosick Falls will face off against Tamarac. The Panthers will host the Bengals at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.

Hoosick Falls will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs on Wednesday, then bounced right back against Tamarac on Friday. The Panthers walked away with an 11-8 win over the Bengals. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Bengals: they've now won three in a row.

For Tamarac's part, Owen Blakesley was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, he tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. That's the fewest earned runs Blakesley has allowed since back in April of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.

In other batting news, Dylan Gerik made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 3-for-3. Keegan Blakesley was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Having lost for the first time this season, Tamarac fell to 2-1. As for Hoosick Falls, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
