Soccer Recap: Atascocita Takes a Loss

On Wednesday, the Atascocita Eagles came up short against the King Panthers and fell 3-1. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Eagles came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 103rd, while the Panthers are ranked 232nd).

Atascocita's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2-4. As for King, the victory got them back to even at 4-4-2.

Atascocita didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-1 win against Summer Creek on the 25th. King has also already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Goose Creek Memorial on the 25th.
