Volleyball Game Preview: Las Animas Trojans vs. Springfield Longhorns + How To Watch

The Las Animas Trojans will head out on the road to challenge the Springfield Longhorns at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

Las Animas came up short against Swink on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-12, 25-6.

Meanwhile, Springfield came up short against Caliche on Saturday and fell 2-0.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-8.

Springfield now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Las Animas, their loss dropped their record down to 6-12.

Las Animas was able to grind out a solid victory over Springfield in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
