Soccer Recap: Pisgah Takes a Loss

Pisgah had taken North Henderson down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Wednesday. The Bears took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against North Henderson this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 back in September.

Pisgah's goal came courtesy of Omar Gonzalez-Olvera, who's now up to two this season.

Pisgah has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-6-3 record this season. As for North Henderson, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-6-1.

Pisgah didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Franklin on the 13th. As for North Henderson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Brevard on the 13th.
