Basketball Game Preview: Caldwell Redskins vs. Toronto Red Knights

Caldwell has gone a perfect 4-0 against Toronto recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Caldwell Redskins will face off against the Toronto Red Knights at 7:00 p.m. Caldwell has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 195 points over their last three games.

Last Thursday, Caldwell didn't have too much trouble with River as they won 57-38. The Redskins haven't had any issues with the Pilots recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

It was another big night for Carter Wheeldin, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 14 boards. The match was his third in a row with at least 28 points. Another player making a difference was Dylan Schott, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 12 points and three steals.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Toronto, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 60-50 win over Frontier on Friday.

Toronto is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.4 points over those games. As for Caldwell, their victory bumped their record up to 16-3.

Caldwell took their win against Toronto in their previous matchup back in December of 2020 by a conclusive 70-48. The rematch might be a little tougher for Caldwell since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
