Football Recap: Manchester Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Manchester can now relate to. They were dealt a 47-8 defeat at the hands of the Springport Spartans on Friday. The Flying Dutchmen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Springport to victory, but perhaps none more so than Easton Merrill, who rushed for 142 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only five carries. The dominant performance also gave Merrill a new career-high in rushing touchdowns (two). Another player making a difference was Kaden Woyame, who rushed for 74 yards and three scores.

Manchester's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Springport, the win keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Manchester does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Springport, they will face off against New Lothrop at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
