Volleyball Recap: Harbor Beach Takes a Loss

Harbor Beach lost against Reese back in November of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Pirates took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rockets. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-18.

Amelia Capling paced Harbor Beach's offense, picking up five kills. Capling got some help from Keltie Deer and her ten assists. Deer was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Harbor Beach's loss dropped their record down to 2-4-1. As for Reese, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2.

Looking ahead, Harbor Beach will welcome Brown City at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, Reese and Cass City will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:15 p.m. on the 11th. The game will give the Rockets their first taste of in-conference action this season.
