Softball Recap: Brighton Comes Up Short

After flying high against Wayne Memorial on Monday, Brighton came back down to earth. The Bulldogs fell 7-3 to the Farmington Falcons on Tuesday.

Anna Minnick made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, one triple, and one run. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Samantha Janssen, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Brighton's loss dropped their record down to 10-21-1. As for Farmington, their victory bumped their record up to 21-5-1.

While Brighton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
