It was close, but on Monday the Armstrong Wildcats sidestepped the Huguenot Falcons for a 2-1 win.

Armstrong's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-4-1. As for Huguenot, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 1-4-3 record this season.

Armstrong will take on Mechanicsville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Huguenot, they will host Manchester at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Huguenot will be up against Manchester's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.33 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
