Softball Recap: Noxapater Tigers vs. Northeast Lauderdale Trojans
After flying high against Winona last Thursday, Noxapater came back down to earth. The Tigers lost 11-1 to the Northeast Lauderdale Trojans on Friday. The Tigers have struggled against the Trojans recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.
Noxapater saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emma Cremeen, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.
Noxapater's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Northeast Lauderdale, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Noxapater will challenge Philadelphia at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Northeast Lauderdale, they will head out to take on Starkville at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Trojans are facing the Yellowjackets at the right time seeing as the Yellowjackets are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
