Soccer Recap: Kearney Comes Up Short

If Kearney was feeling good fresh off their 6-0 takedown of Ruskin last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs lost 3-0 to the Maryville Spoofhounds on Tuesday.

Kearney's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Maryville, they now have a winning record of 2-1-1.

Looking ahead, Kearney will host Barstow at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Barstow's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Kearney's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Maryville, they will head out to challenge Chillicothe at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
