Volleyball Recap: West Lincoln Comes Up Short

West Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Burns Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 20-25, 25-19, 25-14.

West Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Burns, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.

West Lincoln wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Lincolnton on the 9th. As for Burns, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Shelby on the 9th.
