Volleyball Recap: Edison Comes Up Short

It was a Battle of the Birds when Edison challenged Jefferson Township on Saturday. The Eagles fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 2-1. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2025.

This is the second loss in a row for Edison and nudges their season record down to 9-5. As for Jefferson Township, they moved to 9-8 with that win, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

Looking ahead, Edison will host J.P. Stevens at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jefferson Township, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Chatham on the 27th.
