Basketball Recap: Woodland Takes a Loss

Woodland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They opened the new year with a less-than-successful 33-20 loss to the Randolph County Tigers. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 42-22 back in December of 2024.

Woodland's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Randolph County, their victory bumped their record up to 7-10.

Woodland will face off against Horseshoe Bend at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Randolph County, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Randolph County Tigers challenge the Wellborn Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
