Volleyball Game Preview: John Marshall Monarchs vs. University Hawks

The John Marshall Monarchs will face off against the University Hawks at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

John Marshall is headed into the matchup having just posted their closest victory since September 11th on Monday. They had just enough and edged out Steubenville 3-2.

John Marshall took Steubenville into a fifth set where they got it done with a ten-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 26-24, 18-25, 20-25, 15-5.

Meanwhile, University came tearing into Wednesday's match with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Red Devils.

John Marshall's victory bumped their record up to 14-5-3. As for University, their win bumped their record up to 20-5-2.
