Cardinal O'Hara entered their tilt with Conestoga on Wednesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Pioneers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lions also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Cardinal O'Hara had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 18-25, 20-25, 25-20, 25-18, 16-14.

Despite the loss, Conestoga still got an impressive performance from Leighton Hornaday, who had six digs and five aces.

Cardinal O'Hara's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Conestoga, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season.

Cardinal O'Hara wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against St. Hubert Catholic for Girls on the 2nd. As for Conestoga, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Upper Darby on the 3rd.
