Recap: Park Tudor Panthers vs. Clinton Central Bulldogs
The Park Tudor Panthers put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 48-6 win over Clinton Central at home. The result was nothing new for Park Tudor, who have now won ten contests by 34 points or more so far this season.
Dj (darrell) gordon continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 262 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries, while also throwing for 157 yards and two touchdowns while completing 87.5% of his passes. (darrell) gordon really tore up the turf during one magnificent 98-yard run. Another player making a difference was Eland Edwards, who rushed for 88 yards and a touchdown on only six carries.
Park Tudor's win was their sixth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 11-0. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-9 Shenandoah and 1-8 Clinton Central (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 34.4% over those games). As for Clinton Central, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Park Tudor will head out on the road to face off against North Vermillion at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Clinton Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
