Baseball Recap: Edison Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Edison's offense. They fell just short of the Marina Vikings by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday. The Chargers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Vikings earlier this season, when they won 8-6.

Edison has also been struggling recently as they've lost 14 of their last 17 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season. As for Marina, their record now sits at 8-13.

While Edison had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
