Softball Recap: Macomb Comes Up Short

Macomb was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 13-5 to the Lewistown Indians. Bombers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Indians since on Monday.

Kinley Sloan was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3. Jordyn Shoopman also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Macomb's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Macomb wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 7-0 loss against Pittsfield on the 8th. As for Lewistown, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Canton at 7:00 p.m. on May 14.
